CSU Sacramento, Student Union Expansion

3QC provided LEED Consulting as part of the Design-Build team renovating and expanding the CSU Sacramento University Union. The $51 million project included a 72,000 SF, three-story expansion of the Union that was originally designed to meet LEED Gold standards. With the goal of enhancing student life on campus for more than 30,000 students, the newly renovated and expanded Union will incorporate Peak Adventures (an outdoor adventures shop with bike repair and sales area), premium coffee shop, several casual seating areas, meeting rooms, student activities offices, and outdoor seating pavilion. Upgrades to the existing facility will include new HVAC, fire alarm and lighting control systems.
