Genesis Marina, Life Science Laboratory Campus

GENESIS Marina is the next generation Class A laboratory and office space campus offering the high tech and science community of Northern California the most state of the art, highly engineered facilities to date. Located at Sierra Point on the Highway 101 corridor, the 8.87-acre project is a three-building life sciences campus featuring pre-designed laboratory spaces supported by high-end MEP systems for the best of laboratory standards.

The life sciences campus has over 570,000 SF of office and laboratory space, including additional amenities such as a high-end restaurant, conference center, fitness center, parking, access to trails and bike paths, and diverse transportation options. The project team has high aspirations for a sustainable healthy environment for future tenants and is designing and constructing the facility to attain LEED Gold equivalent standards.

To help the team achieve the goal of LEED Gold equivalency, 3QC provided LEED Enhanced Building Commissioning for the Core and Shell of the facilities. Our services included commissioning the MEP systems as well as the building enclosure to ensure indoor air quality that not only meets laboratory standards but also is healthy for tenants and energy efficient.
