UC Davis Health has acquired approximately 30 acres of land in Folsom CA and will be developing plans for a future healthcare campus to include a Community Hospital with a surgical center and associated medical offices and support facilities. The Medical Office Building (MOB) at the Folsom Health Facility project will be constructed on a 34.5-acre parcel located adjacent to East Bidwell Street and one block north of Alder Creek Parkway in the Folsom Area Specific Plan, known as Folsom Ranch.
The Project will consist of a 3 or 4-story Medical Office Building (MOB) and associated hardscapes and landscapes including surface parking, a drive-thru clinic, and outdoor spaces for patient and staff respite and be construction on a Greenfield Site, developed with associated infrastructure, utility connections, road improvements, and solar PV infrastructure. The MOB will include primary care, specialty care and pediatric clinics with a total of 115 exam rooms, a pharmacy, 16 chair infusion suite and clinic support services like imaging and radiology. The project will be a minimum of LEED Silver and will comply with the UC Sustainable Practices Policy (UCSPP) with the MOB being an all-electric building.
3QC was hired to perform LEED Enhanced Commissioning as well as Building Enclosure Commissioning for the Folsom Medical Office Building that is pursuing LEED Gold certification.
