Alaska Airlines is working to design and deliver a best-in-class terminal renovation in alignment with the goals and objectives of LAWA’s LAX Terminal 6 Redevelopment. The redevelopment will add capacity, improve efficiency and functionality and great enhance operations and ultimately the guest experience. The scope of work includes security checkpoint upgrades, lounge access and circulation improvements, additional contact gates and holding room expansions, passenger boarding bridges, and lobby renovations.
3QC was initially hired as the LEED Administration consultant as part of a team with the architectural firm Rivers and Christian. As building and sustainability experts, 3QC provided an Integrative LEED process that will help implement sustainable design and construction plans. Our LEED services support the goals of reducing resource consumption and minimizing environmental impacts while at the same time improving the health, well-being and productivity of the end-users, maintenance and operations and ultimately the airlines.
In addition, 3QC was recently hired by Alaska Airlines to serve as the Commissioning Authority on the Terminal 6 Redevelopment Program. The Program is divided into two main components: “Make Ready” and the overall Terminal Redevelopment program. The Make Ready project consists of enabling work and is a tenant improvement at the T6 Moat level intended to improve facilities for AAG Terminal Operations and provide a working space for the General Contractor during the larger Redevelopment program. Commissioning services will be required at completion of the Make Ready scope and at the completion of each phase of the larger Redevelopment Program.

New HVAC Systems and new HVAC Controls in their entirety
New Plumbing Systems in their entirety
New Electrical Power Systems in their entirety
New Metering devices including measurement and data collection
New Lighting Control Systems including occupancy/vacancy sensors
